Grace & Gavel
Guiding generations with grace & clarity
The Heart Behind Grace & Gavel
I started Grace & Gavel as a space to slow down, reflect, and connect the parts of life that so often feel separate — work and home, faith and purpose, legacy and everyday living.
As an attorney, I spend my days helping families plan for the future, protect what matters most, and navigate some of life’s most personal transitions. But behind every legal document is a story — one that deserves to be handled with compassion and understanding. Over the years, I’ve learned that law isn’t just about rules and structure; it’s about people, love, and the moments that define us.
This blog was born out of that balance between the gavel and grace, between building a practice and building a life. I learned early on (somewhere between finishing law school and figuring out what it means to juggle family, clients, and calling) that purpose is often found in the pause — usually with a good cup of coffee in hand. ☕
Here, you’ll find reflections on legacy, family, and planning with intention. You’ll also find encouragement for those walking the same path of doing meaningful work while keeping life’s priorities in focus. My hope is that Grace & Gavel feels like a breath of calm in a busy world — a place where the legal meets the personal, and where we remember that grace has a place in it all.
Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here. ⚖️🌿
